Bryon Kolbeck is the Chief Technology Officer for Lewisville ISD. Lewisville ISD is located approximately 25 miles Northwest of Dallas and with his leadership the Technology Department oversees over 50K iPads, approximately 35K laptops, and maintains one of the largest public-sector fiber optic networks in Denton County. Bryon oversees three divisions which provide technology services to the District’s 69 campuses. The divisions include: Technical Services, Information Services, and Network Infrastructure & Cyber-Security. Bryon’s leadership helped guide the District in developing a long-range technology plan which was used to establish technology project costs included in the District’s successful passage of a Spring 2017 bond referendum. He also helped lead LISD to become the 1st district in Texas to be awarded CoSN’s Trusted Learning Environment Seal.
