With your students using more software and apps on their school devices than ever before, safeguarding student data privacy has never been more challenging—or more important. So, to protect everyone, you need to involve everyone. During this session, discover how you can strengthen your data privacy efforts and offer additional peace of mind to your parent community using third-party badging and security reviews from IMS Global Learning Consortium and the Student Data Privacy Consortium. Additionally, attendees will see how they can use a data privacy monitoring tool like CatchOn to quickly categorize, sort, download, and export lists of approved and unapproved apps to share with district personnel, stakeholders, and parents, ensuring everyone has access to the critical information they need to help keep student data safe.
